Only 25 members added from 21st June to 20th July . Currently the membership stood at 28336. Total no of members joined the benevolent fund is 8276.

It is just 29.20% of total members joined the fund since its inception.. Majority of the members not yet join the fund. This may be due to various reasons. One of the reason is lack of awareness of the fund existence and its features to the cs fraternity.

I fully agree with the views of our senior member Mr.Madhavan P B that ICSI should concentrate to provide medical assistance to senior members who are above 65 years. ICSI should initiate necessary arrangement for yearly medical check up of those members. We need to take care of our elderly persons. Currently fund concentrate to relief to legal heirs and sick persons .

Institute will consider to take necessary steps to inititate yearly medical check up of elderly persons above 65 years. This facility will be available to only those who are members of the fund.

Myself and few other like minded members going to join yearly contribution of Rs.12000/- to the fund for the noble cause. Our Senior members and council members has already contributed to Rs.418000 ( Rs.12000 each) within 2 days after that the initiative was dropped once for all. .Let us revive the same.
